FACTS THAT NO ONE TELLS YOU ABOUT JNU

 

 

1. The bus comedy scene in Andaz Apna Apna was shot on the ring road of JNU. 

 

2. George Clooney proposed Amal Alamuddin in the Nehru statue arena. She came to JNU to deliver special lecture on Violation of Human Rights.

 

3. Some scenes of Sholay was shot in the Parthasarthy rock. Thanks to the rocks in PSR.

 

4. Some of the dance practice scenes of Happy New Year was shot in the big upper hall of Teflas.

 

5. In the 1980s, the open air theatre in KC was considered twice for hosting the Filmfare Award.
